In ancient Greece the word ‘Politics’ translated as “relating to citizens”. Using this as a starting point Aga Szot has made observations on art, social and political change through her experience at the 120th year anniversary of the The Venice Biennial in 2015. She will give a one hour lecture reflecting on and interpreting some of the art installations experienced at the Biennial. How has politics changed since the time of Aristotle? And what would happen if the artist became politician? How would they influence the world?
